I had a close friend use the camera on my telephone to video me dancing with a friend. Alas, the video is too big for me to be able to upload online so I have to watch it in my phone, but anyway - I’m really glad I got to see myself, I can see that my hard work has been paying off. I also noticed a few interesting minor details that I’m going to work on, but for the most part I am really proud of myself and inspired to keep dancing.
The other pleasant surprise is that the fabulous Ney Melo and Jennifer Bratt are coming to town to teach some workshops in September. I love their elegant style, and I’m curious to see how they are in person. If you’d like to see who I’m talking about, click here.

Hi Tina, nice blog.
I’ve hardly ever seen myself dancing on video. The few times I’ve been able to see myself, I was always pleasantly surprised. I feel so much when I’m dancing, it’s lovely and strange to see what it actually looks like.
My dear Tina, if you share with me I’ll share with you… please
If you have my email address, please do email… if not please leave a comment (won’t be published) in my blog…
Tango hugs,
Tanguera
Well, nice that you liked it. A friend took video of me dancing at a Milonga recently, and I was O.K. about some it, and really upset about other things. (Feet not under me always as gracefully as I think they need to be, posture not perfect as teacher keeps correcting me about…what do you know, he was right! Well, I will just keep working, and maybe it is a good thing at some point to see onself this way. What is the deal with Tango anyway. Why so much angst?
