When executed at *just* the right moment they can be delicious - but yes, it’s important to take care not to make the dance ALL about the kicks & snaps & such.

What I’m trying to say is by wanting her feet, I mean that I want her ability to do such beautiful sharp movements without losing form or connection. One of my weaknesses has always been strength of core (it’s getting better), so I tend to gravitate towards dancers who can do thos things while staying grounded and in control. I have axis envy. And I’m sorry, but her feet look hot.
I admire that she can do all this and still stay with Javier in the dance.

On a side note, I was just thinking about how I like him partnered with Andrea… I feel like I can equally watch both of them. When he was with Geraldine, I felt like I could only watch Geraldine. This partnership seems more balanced.

I can appreciate the skill required, but do not find this frenzy of flicks, kicks, and flings attractive at all. To me they look like tse tse flies are biting at her ankles, and chewing gum has gotten stuck on her heel.

Less is more, I say!
