Maximiliano Gluzman is a young milonguero from Buenos Aires who proudly continues the tradition of his hometown’s social dance.
Having already learned his first tangos as a child, he began dancing tango in 1997. He soon discovered the milonguero style and developed his own personal dance style through years of working with internationally known instructors, such as Tete, Pocho y Neli, Ricardo Vidort and Susana Miller, among others, as well as dancing and watching the old milongueros of Buenos Aires for endless hours.
He has taught and performed in Argentina, Europe and the United States, both in workshops and seminars as well as in numerous festivals.
**I had the pleasure of meeting Maxi when I lived in Buenos Aires, and from the first tanda I shared with him, he became one of my top 5 favorites to dance with, for his protective embrace, his subtle interpretation of the music and his simple, genuine, very milonguero style of dancing. I’m honored to have to him in Seattle – I think you’ll all love him!
Some videos I quite enjoy.
