Katie and I met when we were living in Italy, she in Firenze and I in Perugia. During a visit to my town, we went to a milonga, where she realized that Tango would be something rather nice to have in her life. Now that she’s back in the States, she has decided to commit to it. -It helps that she “accidentally” bought a pair of Tango shoes (fate, perhaps?)… Keep an eye out for possible updates on her blog (which focuses on Italy)… she’s a real gem. Katie, welcome to the world of Tango.

As we say here in Argentina: “Tango es un viaje de ida…”

Tina, this is my dream! To have friends convert to tango. Congratulations! I am sure there is a special place in tango heaven for you now.

Grazie in tanto!
Hola Tina,
Thank you for introducing us to Katie. It will be fun to see her progress through tango in such a beautiful country.
I wrote to Katie and thought you could help me, too…I’ll be going to Venice in October with one, or maybe even two, tangueras! I should know for sure in the next day or so. Would you have any advice/recommendations/insight into the tango scene in Venice? I think you, of all people, would be my expert in this!
We are so excited to be going and to be able to dance tango while we are there will make the trip even more amazing! Anything you can tell us would be greatly appreciated!!!
