I’ve been made aware that somebody is using a picture that I took of my feet, to sell their shoes on ebay.
While I take this as a tremendous compliment to my feet and photography skills, I’m a little disturbed that the person didn’t bother writing to me to ask if they could use it. I didn’t even get credit for it.
I’ve contact this person and hopefully the situation will be resolved.
I know that by writing a blog for all the world to see, and by sometimes using my own photographs, I am taking a risk, but I also believe that people should at least take the high road and ask for permission OR give the original artist credit by linking the photo (or other such intellectual property) to my blog. Everything I write and photograph here is copyrighted and is my property. Period.
If any of you are inspired by my photographs or any of the content of this blog and feel like including it in something, then I ask you to do two things:
1) CONTACT ME first. On the sidebar to the right, in the “Pages” section, there is a link that says “Contact”. Click on it. Write me an e-mail and ask me if you can use it. Whatever my answer is, you’ll see that I’m a very nice and reasonable person.
then,
2) GIVE ME CREDIT. All I ask is that right next to or under the photo, put “Photograph by Tina Ferrari (or Tina Tangos) at http://tinatangos.com/blog” That’s all you have to do.
Anyway, you’d be amazed at the positive karma that can come back to you if you just do the right thing.
Thank you in advance.

Hello, readers and friends in and near Seattle, are any of you coming down to Buenos Aires anytime soon? If you are, please contact me through the contact form (in the menu on the right, under “Pages”, there is a page called “Contact” – click that and you can send me an e-mail). I need a favor ![]()
Thank you!

Just busy!!
My aunt is in town this week and we’ve been running all over the place. Buenos Aires is being very kind to her and I think she likes it.
I’m also full of translation work right now.
So bear with me as it’s a little hard to write in here for the next few days…

I know, I keep changing it. I think I might finally be satisfied, but don’t be surprised if I change it again.

THIS is exactly what I’m talking about. This is why I am so looking forward to dancing in Buenos Aires again. And anyway, it’s well-written.
