I am really struck by the codes regarding seating at Baires milongas, by the way. It’s one thing that I am a bit overwhelmed and intimidated by… my first night there, I had no clue how to deal with it.

By the way, TS and I sometimes just find an empty table on our own and took it, and it was fine. But yes, most of the time we did sit with friends who’d already gotten a table or the host/ess would seat us…
