It definitely makes me smile to see them dance. I loved Osvaldo’s playfulness with his feet. Elizabeth showed me another video of them and what captured my heart is when Coca lost her balance ever so slightly and Osvaldo gave her a loving squeeze. If one wasn’t paying close attention, they would have missed it but it was that particular moment that endeared me to them.

They are my all-time favorite dancers!
I believe, watching Coca made me understand more than anything what it really means ‘to follow” in tango. Thanks for posting this.

Yeah, I love them. I saw a video of them after a really rough week of work and tango. I felt like a blessing was bestowed. Many of things are sorted out by seeing this real tango. It is so difficult to know, when you have not been to BA, and you have a variety of styles around, and conflicting information and so many dancers in and out of town. But the real thing just speaks to me. Thanks for posting it Tina.

You spanish is perfect :) I saw them several times, in milonga exhibitions and they are great, not only in tango, but in milonga too. They one of the more traditional tango dancers who won the campeonato mundial de tango salon.
Besos!

This is what happens when you get back to basics, work hard on deepening what you know, listent to each other, and treasure the connection and the music: perfection.

The night I arrived in BsAs back in March I saw them dance at La Ideal. I loved them. Their tango connection and their smiles captured my heart. Months later I watched them again at Porteno y Bailarin and was brave enough to approach afterwards and tell them how much they inspired me. Their genuine delight and warmth even extended to Osvaldo inviting me to dance a tango… 3 minutes that I will always treasure.
I often see these two out enjoying themselves in the milongas and it is obvious that they are loved and respected where ever they go. Precious gems they are indeed in the world of tango Buenos Aires.

they’re sweet, the sweetest couple. I saw them in Italy, at the Viareggio Tango Festival, and I was on the verge of tears for they really could touch something in my heart and soul, it was beautiful and, if you still haven’t found it, watch this on youtube…

When I see a couple like this, it really makes me realize that this is what tango can be like for everyone. I also love the fact that this community appreciates and respects the elder generation who continue to lead by example.
