It took me moving to SF to ditch the car, and get around in ways I never would have dreamed of. Sounds like what you are doing down in BA. When you're in a city that welcomes walking, the world slows down and lots of things you never noticed before start showing up! I'm sure Italy will be like that for you, too. How enjoyable! I have come to realize that the more I walk, the more I see. It took me moving to SF to ditch the car, and get around in ways I never would have dreamed of. Sounds like what you are doing down in BA.
