I’ve needed some literary romantic escape for my lunch breaks, so I picked up the book “Kiss & Tango“, figuring that I may as well read a book involve something I can relate to. It’s a pretty light read. I haven’t gotten far enough into it to review it just yet, but it is pretty much what I’m looking for right now - fluff. I did enjoy something one of the characters said, which I will now share with you.
“There is a famous saying: ‘It takes only twenty minutes to learn a figure. But it takes twenty years to learn to walk.’”
I smiled when I read that. I must say, in Tango there is nothing like a good walk.

maybe this one will be next, for the tao of tango book club.
thanks for the reference and the web link!
It´s just fun brain fluff. I wonder how the movie will turn out? Sandra Bullock bought the rights and apparently will be starring in it.
I look forward to your review, when it comes. I shall hold my tongue on the topic until then…
Usually I’m a pretty good tongue-biter, but I hate that people think this book depicts tango life in Buenos Aires. You can read my Amazon review, Sex and the Spoiled-Little-Rich Girl, here:

And it’s not even good trash.
Cherie - ha! - actually I had read your review prior to getting the book
I’ve seen such mixed reviews that I just had to get it & see for myself. So far I think not so much “spoiled rich girl” as I think “ignorant sheltered girl” but we’ll see… review will come soon…
Never ever hold your tongue here Cherie - I love your opinions!!!!
:-)
