Break out the fireworks, my blog is one year old! ![]()
I’ve been waiting to write this post, and it looks like my pal Katherine beat me to it with her comment on my previous post, but c’est la vie ![]()
I have nothing really profound to say except that it’s been fun to meet some of the people I’ve had the fortune to know through this blog, and um… yeah.
I originally started it because I was living in Italy and had an Italian-focused blog, but was planning a trip to Buenos Aires and didn’t want to distract from that theme (I’m a Virgo and I like things organized like that). So I started a tango blog - well, it was originally supposed to be a Buenos Aires blog but it’s sort of evolved.
It has led me to meet some interesting and wonderful people, and learn a lot about how much this beautiful thing called Tango really affects people. I’ve enjoyed it, a lot.
A few people who just don’t understand (and don’t have blogs or really write that often) have said that I spend too much time online, for the mere reason that I have a blog. I took this a little personally because I don’t think people really realize how much I love to write. This is my journaling. It’s healthy to write. I have my Italy sounding board, my Argentina sounding board, and of course my private journal. It’s something I like to do. Plus I have to be online all the time for my work (when I’m not sleeping), so there you go.
Anyway, thanks for joining me in my little journey, and I hope you’ll stick around to see what’s in the future of this blog.
Cheers! ![]()

And who has told you that you spend too much time online?
Isn’t it the same guy who said you that you had too many shoes?

Buon compleanno, Tina!
I have enjoyed following your blog since I myself started blogging this past summer. You and I have Italy and dancing (and blogging) in common, and it is fun to read your perspective on both,
Happy Birthday, Tina! You tell that guy that lots of people look forward to reading your posts! I’m with you, blogging is a great exercise in getting the words out and what’s the difference if it’s pen and paper or fingers on a keyboard?
We’ll be looking forward to your posts from BA, when you can fit them in between classes and milongas!
Congratulations Tina!!! You started blogging just a little before me. MY birthday is approaching soon too!
